Crown Point Vineyards

The genesis of Crown Point unveiled a site with undeniable attributes prompting consistent recognition. A confluence where rocky slopes fade into a loamy mesa providing distinctive personalities for Cabernet Sauvignon.

Positioned twelve miles north from the Pacific Ocean tucked in between two mountain ranges, the mild Mediterranean climate distinguishes our wines. This unique topography delivers mineral-rich, nutrient-poor, stress-inducing soils.

An intimate understanding of site is at the core of our viticulture ethos. As stewards of the land, we take pride in understanding the prowess and challenges of our vineyard.

Owner and visionary, Roger Bower discovered Crown Point Vineyard in 2012 in pursuit of the next frontier in Santa Barbara Wine Country, a boundary that connects Winemaker, Simon Faury with renown Consultants, Michel Rolland and Philippe Melka.

Estate Tasting

A 60-minute private tasting featuring our Estate Selection wine across two vintages. The winemaking team describes this wine as “a reflection of our vineyard,” purposefully planted to the five Bordeaux varieties. After a cellar visit, guests will enjoy the outdoor tranquility provided within our estate property overlooking the vines framed by the parallel running Santa Ynez Mountains and the flanking San Rafael Mountain range.

Vineyard Tour & Pairing

An unparalleled 90-minute adventure that begins with a tour of our renowned vineyard in an all-terrain vehicle, climbing to the apex of the Estate to enjoy a panoramic view of wine country. Guests will then journey into our state-of-the-art winery to meet our winemaking team, followed by a private tasting featuring three of our acclaimed Cabernet Sauvignon or blended wines. The tasting includes two of the Estate’s most recent offerings, one vintage offering from the Estate’s wine library, which are accompanied by a curated cheese pairing.
